The Week in Pictures

Truman nurses from behind his mom. We haven't ever seen this before!

See that? That is Fall '08 shareholder's yarn growing.

I am so proud when I see Cumin (pictured above) and Bay Leaf eating grass and hay. Usually babies graze along side their mamas who show them what to eat. My boys have to figure it out for themselves. They are wicked smart.

Maybe my favorite picture of the week is this one of Truman napping.

You can clearly see the "grazing line" in this shot.

I am almost positive that Salina and Sicily are cross nursing their lambs.

Ike

Here he is nursing. He is barely a third smaller than his mom!

There was a lot of basking in the sun going on this week.

Linda and Cayenne

Bay Leaf has the greatest...

ears ever.

Truman and Salina.

Thank you so much for the pictures. Bay Leaf does have the best ears ever! Did Basil get extra vitamins or something? He's so big! These pictures have already made my day:)

Yes, thanks and double thanks. How perfect that an expectant mom won the alpaca! Katrina, we MUST have a photo of you in the sweater after baby is born with photos of all Susan's little critters!

Thanks so much for the pics, just as I was thinking "I hope she posted a picture of Linda" there she was. She stole my heart when she was overly pregnant and sheared. Thanks for the fix.

Every picture I look at I think "that's my favorite" and then I go to the next one, then that's my favorite, until the next and the next and the next. They're all just grand, but I do agree with you about Truman's napping picture... although Bay Leaf's ear picture... shucks almighty they're just all dang cute. :)

Your pictures are absolutely wonderful. Thanks for sharing. On my needles right now is a hedgehog and he's not lookin' as cute and cuddly as your guys. Maybe I need to give him ears like Bay Leaf's

What a great post! I now have a facination with lambs! I love the picture of Truman napping--who knew lambs could smile. It made me smile, too!

On my hook now, I have an amigarumi dog (almost finished!). Next, a hat for my 15-month old daughter.

Hmmmm. I wonder what Truman is dreaming of while napping to put that sweet smile on his face.

Perhaps some Chaffehaye?
I LOVE the way that stuff smells!

Hi, your pictures of the week are so cool, a great pick-me-up. I found your site on Ravelry. I'll definitely be back.

My favorite is definitely Truman napping. It is the cutest thing. I love taking pictures of my kids while they're asleep, its the most beautiful, peaceful thing in the world.
I've got a lavendar sweater for my middle daughter on the needles, along with a zig zag scarf that came about from a mistake (but is being worked with remnants), and a dishcloth.
