Anyway, I've never been tagged before. As you can tell, I'm kind of excited about it.
The rules of the game are as follows:
1. Link back to the person that tagged you
2. Post these rules on your blog.
3. Share six unimportant things about yourself.
4. Tag six people at the end of your entry.
So, six unimportant things about me...
1. I have a deep and abiding love of Johnny Cash. After he died, I heard one of his son-in-laws say "Johnny was the perfect combination of Saturday night and Sunday morning." Isn't that a great description? I'm the perfect combination of tightly wrapped and completely lazy.
2. I collect antique toy barns. But I'm actually kind of anti-collecting as a rule.
3. Currently, fencing catalogs are my porn.
4. I am a mac person. I've had just about every apple computer made since 1984. My current model is a MacBook but it's 18 months old and I'm itching for a MacBook Air.
5. I wish I could: play the piano, speak Spanish fluently, twirl a flaming baton, stop losing things, figure out how to have my photographs professionally printed, keep an orchid alive for longer than three weeks, own a Scottish Highland cow, buy an electric truck, train my dog to stop losing his sh*t every time someone knocks on the door, spend a month in India.
6. I am going to try to break my Diet Pepsi addiction again. Soon. Soon-ish. Someday.
Now, whom shall I tag? I will have to think about this and come back to it.

The truth is... who *wouldn't* want to own a scottish highland cow?
:)
I don't know about the rest of your wishes, but I think Patricia McConnell's very short book, "The Cautious Canine" could help you with your dog's doorbell problem. :)
Ah Ha! A Scottish Highland Cow?!!?
And I, too, have the canine barking problem. I need the dog whisperer here....
Love playing Tag!!!

Will you post a picture of your antique toy barns????
I'm so with you on the MacBook Air fix. I'm DYING for one.
I forgot to tell you this. After the sheep shearing festival in April I went to Ken's grandpa's house for the afternoon. He is the sweetest guy- not to mention raucously flirtatious. Bordering on "dirty old man," really, but minus the creepy. :)
Anyway, you had said that people were offering you land left and right, and when I was explaining to him what your CSA was all about and where I had spent that morning, he asked me if you were the beautiful woman he had read about in the paper the day before. I said I believed you were and he waggled his eyebrows and said, "Well she can have any part of my land that she wants!"
So, there's about a half-acre of land in Vineyard Haven if you need it. ;)
I can teach you how to twirl the baton : ) Getting the fire permit may be another issue. Scrub oak, dry field grass, sheep, goats, dogs, and people running for safety. hmm..Maybe you should start with flame free first : )
