Now with 33% more lamby goodness!

There is nothing in the world softer than a lamb's muzzle in your hands. Heavenly.

I love this shot! The way they are all looking at the camera reminds me of photos from an office holiday party.

Delicious, delicious molasses.
Victoria is a very proper sort of lamb. She kind of reminds me of Margaret Thatcher.

Nan is hands-down the sweetest lamb I've ever had. It's hard to get good pictures of her because she wants to be right beside me, nuzzling me all the time.  She is wearing a bit of hay in this pic...
which Victoria finds absurd and wasteful.

"Let me help you out with that. Nom nom nom nom."

We moved Miss Linda, our oldest nanny, in to the lamb pen this week. Linda is 14 or 15, toothless and she doesn't get anywhere in a hurry. She has a lovely spirit though and is the best mama we have. We put her with the babies so she wouldn't have to compete so hard for food. She's already gained a little weight and the babies seem happy to have her body heat in the shelter. Every time I check on her there are three or four kids snuggled up to her.
Don't you want to kiss that little nosey? I kissed it this afternoon for you.

I can't get enough of the perpetually surprised look on Martha's face.

As usual...oooooooooooooohhhhhhhhh.

Your captions are so clever and perfect.

I want nuzzle time with those noseies... or noseys... or is it noses ! Are the goat noses as soft.. I bet they come close.

Again... oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh

Those new ewes are just gorgeous, really, and I'm usually partial to goats! Give Linda a snuzzle for me.

Yeah Heidi, I have to say, it's impossible not to be happy when I sit down in the garden and am surrounded by nuzzly noses. A funny fact - the lamb's noses are always warm and the kids noses are cool. But they are both equally fun to kiss.

Awwww....what terrific photos!! I think Nan and Victoria will be my computer wallpaper for this week. Or maybe surprised Martha. She's quite cute.

Best part of my day. Better than when the new guy at work made an excellent and obscure Original Zelda reference, and better than the morning snuggles. Almost better than the morning snuggles.

I love the laaaambs!

I had my office holiday party tonight (yeah we're a little late) and none of us are nearly that cute in pictures.

I think Nan and Martha and just adorable.

Brilliant! I agree with Sarah... my office party participants weren't so sheepish. Wolfish, maybe. Nifty that they'll look you in the eye!

My husband is still laughing! He heard me say "AWWWWWWW" to my computer, and his comment was, "Let me guess, Martha? Am I right?" Yes, he was right! May I please come visit this face in person this summer? I swear, we won't get in the way. I just have to see her live and in person. I had no idea how attached to a blog about sheep and goats I could become, much less one sheep in particular! Oh yeah, and our Rice Cooker arrived yesterday! It has been my mission since your post!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! (for the cooker tip and the photos!) vovo hugs and stitches, cm

I dont know why it is so, but I love looking at your sheep and goat pics. I could happily see new pics up on the blog every day. No, not a hint!

Thank you for all the good & hard work that you do.

Magnifique. I might need a sheepie. Or goatie.

but my horses weren't so thrilled the last time I attempted this.

So maybe I'll just have to knit some. Although I won't be allowed to sell them after Feb 10th, due to the CPSIA regulations. Tell me, does wool contain lead??
